Eastfield invades Rochester

It was an early morning Tuesday for the Harvesters volleyball team.

The team met at 4 a.m. at the college to take a bus to the airport for a 6:45 a.m. flight to Minneapolis-St-Paul airport. Once arrived there the team had a two hour layover.

The layover turned into a delayed flight to Rochester due to the emergency lights being dead on the aircraft. The plane ended up having to be switched out, and then the team took a quick 15-minute flight to Rochester.

The team arrived at the hotel early afternoon and had a few hours of down time before going to practice, where they worked on serving and ball control.

The tournament banquet is tonight. The Harvesters’ first game is 12:30 p.m. Central time Friday. The match will stream live at njcaatv.com. Follow along Twitter @BHarmonETC.
